Dr. Vargas has excellent bed-side manner. He is very compassionate and understands his patients. He is quite concise with the explanations and uses anatomical models and computer to explain in detail the problem and the best treatment options. The staff is quite amazing in every way. I have been to other specialists but never had as good as a doctor as Dr. Vargas.

Dr Vargas is the most professional doctor I have ever met. His knowledge and expertise go beyond what I have encounter with other doctors. He is quite empathic and besides his charming demeanor he exhibits incredible surgical skills that helped me address my chronic pain with a successful spinal cord stimulator. I have suffered from severe lower back pain for years. Was treated initially by some doctors in Schaumburg who gave me hundreds of different injections, all which did not help, but made things worst.I eventually ended up having spine surgery which also did not help with my pain. I saw different spine surgeons that recommended revision surgery. My neurosurgeon recommended I see Dr. Vargas. I made an appointment and was seen soon after. Dr. Vargas was quite professional, very knowledgeable, very compassionate, and highly recommended by several of the spine surgeons I had seen before. He evaluated my history and recommended a spinal cord stimulator trial, which was quite successful, and then he proceeded with a spinal cord stimulator placement.
